| It is the desire of Badger State Ethanol (BSE) to have a friendly, ongoing business relationship with the local grain elevators. BSE does not wish to compete for grain but would rather work in harmony by acquiring the needed grain from the local grain elevators. Approximately 46 elevators have signed up as sources of grain in Wisconsin, Illinois and Iowa. Area corn producers deliver grain to the plant daily but always under a corn delivery agreement from a participating elevator. Additionally, significant grain is delivered to the plant by rail through this arrangement.
